Where crafters come together

Reasons to Join our Crafters Club

In the coming years, prophecies indicate that world crises will become more common. People with skills they can use to trade, sell, or make things to consume, are more necessary and will help us to maintain a better living standard in these tumultuous times. During the great recession, people bartered for what they needed but they had to have a skill or craft to trade. So much of our production has been and is being moved to foreign countries in our ever-advancing global economy, so that a world crisis, such as the Coronavirus that we are seeing now, is going to have huge impacts that are going to be felt the world over. Reports are now coming in that indicate that the coronavirus is becoming so serious of a situation, that it is going to impact China’s first quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Just think of all the items that we find at the supermarkets and elsewhere that are made in China. There could be shortages of products in this country due to this epidemic that is going on over there right now. Trade conflicts could also contribute to the situation as well. Production and retail are being concentrated in ever expanding behemoth businesses such as Proctor and Gamble, Amazon and Walmart, and a lot of production has been and is continuing to be moved outside of the country. An organization like I’m working on starting here, would be a valuable asset to the community, where crafters and their products can be found to provide for some of the needs of consumers that these global disruptions could likely cause. What we are presenting with Craft Mart Club is something similar to farmers co-ops that existed for years in the early history of this country during the 1800’s except there would be crafters instead of farmers. So, sign up and help protect yourself and us from a future of uncertainty.
